Few games have been more anticipated than a good role-playing game, With Dragon Age: Origins seeing a great few days after release, despite having some major flaws on certain dual core computer systems. In addition, the BioWare mechanic for role playing games is a love/hate relationship, with most people either loving how they can micromanage their characters, or others calling it a pause-fest of boredom.
No matter where you stand on the BioWare RPG game issue, the simple truth is you’re sure to love Divinity II. The Demo was released just yesterday and features a play through of one of the first areas. The game play is really reminiscent of The Witcher, which was touted as one of the best RPG games of 2008. While Divinity II doesn’t feature the same morality mechanics which you’d find in The Witcher, it’s sure to live up to its predecessor in fun and hack and slash combat. You can get the demo now and play on XBLA, or from any of these providers for PC:
