Few games have been more anticipated than a good role-playing game, With Dragon Age: Origins seeing a great few days after release, despite having some major flaws on certain dual core computer systems. In addition, the BioWare mechanic for role playing games is a love/hate relationship, with most people either loving how they can micromanage their characters, or others calling it a pause-fest of boredom.

No matter where you stand on the BioWare RPG game issue, the simple truth is you’re sure to love Divinity II. The Demo was released just yesterday and features a play through of one of the first areas. The game play is really reminiscent of The Witcher, which was touted as one of the best RPG games of 2008. While Divinity II doesn’t feature the same morality mechanics which you’d find in The Witcher, it’s sure to live up to its predecessor in fun and hack and slash combat. One of the most hotly anticipated games of next year has finally released its soundtrack information, and it seems God of War III will be following in the footsteps of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within by featuring tracks from heavy metal bands such as Killswitch, Engage, Dream Theater, Trivium, and Taking Dawn. While none of these are really as well known as Warrior Within’s Godsmack score, it’s really interesting to see where Sony will take this.

“This is the first time in 24 years that we’ve written and recorded a song for anything other than one of our own albums, so we’re up for the challenge and excited to have been asked,” said prog metal act Dream Theater’s drummer Mike Portnoy.

Apparently all of the tracks which will be featured on the God of War III soundtrack will be previously unreleased, which was not the case with Warrior Within’s soundtrack, as it featured I Stand Alone.
