God Of War: Blood & Metal Soundtrack Revealed
One of the most hotly anticipated games of next year has finally released its soundtrack information, and it seems God of War III will be following in the footsteps of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within by featuring tracks from heavy metal bands such as Killswitch, Engage, Dream Theater, Trivium, and Taking Dawn. While none of these are really as well known as Warrior Within’s Godsmack score, it’s really interesting to see where Sony will take this.
“This is the first time in 24 years that we’ve written and recorded a song for anything other than one of our own albums, so we’re up for the challenge and excited to have been asked,” said prog metal act Dream Theater’s drummer Mike Portnoy.
Apparently all of the tracks which will be featured on the God of War III soundtrack will be previously unreleased, which was not the case with Warrior Within’s soundtrack, as it featured I Stand Alone.
