Visually Impaired Gamer Sues Sony

First reported by GameSpot, it seems a visually impaired man has filed suit against Sony Online Entertainment, citing the company violates the Americans With Disabilities act by not providing better support for visually impaired gamers when it comes to navigating their virtual worlds.
Alexander Stern is the man behind the suit and while the nature of his disability isn’t made clear in the report, the suit was filed in California against a number of Sony’s MMOs. To back up his argument, Stern claims that a number of other MMOs, including World of Warcraft cater to their visually impaired player base by allowing third party modifications which make achieving goals easier. When GameSpot contacted Sony for a statement in regards to the suit, they received no answer.
So what do you think? Should Sony be required to make its games more accessible for those with visual impairments? In my days of playing World of Warcraft, I do remember several modifications which changed the colors of the coins to more easily identifiable text for the color blind, so perhaps Sony should consider making their games more accessible for those with visual impairment.

I love WOW. I found an awesome WoW guide filled with useful information and tips. I have already made over 30g playing only a few hours. Now, if you only there was a guide on how not to get ganked while questing on a pvp server I would have the ultimate guide!
