Nintendo Brings Back Excitebike
One of the classic Nintendo games is back. No I’m not speaking about Double Dragon. It’s Excitebike! The official name will be Excitebike World Rally. Are you as excited as me? Just look at the improvements in graphics and you will be. Here is the old Excitebike:
And here is the new Excitebike for the Wii:
Talk about a good look at the advancements in technology. The game which is available November 9th, 2009 on Nintendo’s online channel has an enhanced 2.5-D look, a Track Editor, and four-player online multiplayer capability. Nintendo has released this statement on the game:
“Just like the original, you race against rivals on obstacle course tracks,” they state. “And you still have a track editor. But the game has been revved up for 2009. You can now play using the Wii Remote’s motion sensor on top of being able to play the classic way using just the buttons on the Wii Remote.”
