EA Developing Dragon Age Flash Game
It’s no secret that marketing teams are getting more and more creative with how they’re marketing their mainstream games. Ubisoft’s recently announced venture into short films for their release of Assassin’s Creed II is no small venture, and EA is looking to trump this.
Currently in development in order to promote Dragon Age: Origins, EA 2D is working on Dragon Age Journeys, which is a flash based game which will feature some of the same gameplay you’ll see in the main game, although toned down to be more acceptable for a flash game. Current plans include a single player tactical RPG which is divided into three different chapters. The game will be released as each chapter is finished, and the first chapter is entitled Dragon Age Journeys: The Deep Roads.
In their collaboration with BioWare, Dragon Age Journeys will feature the same character classes, talent trees, and even much of the same music and sound effects which are taken directly from Dragon Age: Origins.
