Left 4 Dead 2 To Have Realism Mode
Thanks to the folks over at 1Up, the new Left 4 Dead 2 mode made an appearance this week. The new mode is being dubbed “realism” mode by Valve, and according to their marketing VP Doug Lombardi, Realism mode is designed for players who feel expert mode simply isn’t punishing enough.
He didn’t give any details as to exactly why it’s so different, but if we’re left to assume, we’d say the infected act more like the zombie stereotype, requiring precise headshots to be killed off. If this is the case, you’d better hope one of the survivors on your team was a damned good sniper in Battlefield 2.
