Dead Before Dawn L4D Mod To Hit Halloween
Dead Before Dawn is a Left 4 Dead mod that has been turning heads, and for good reason. It promises to be a faithful remake of the mall that was featured in the Xbox 360 original, Dead Rising, only instead of plowing through a horde of zombies with a lawnmower, you’ll have to guide Frank, Bill, Louis, and Zoey through the treacherous mall. In fact, Valve was so impressed with the mod, they sent the team a few soundclips of Francis declaring his hatred for malls.
The mod team recently revealed that they plan on releasing the mod come hell or high water on Halloween, with the following statement:
“In the event that we do not see our finale up to scratch for release, we will NOT postpone the release. We promised you a halloween release date, a halloween release date is what your going to get. If this does happen, maps 1 – 5 will be released and an update for the campaign containing the finale will be released shortly after.”
We’re looking forward to slogging through yet another zombie infested mall for a little fun and hope these types of mods continue to be released for L4D after L4D2 is released in November.
