Dead Rising 2 Preview
There’s nothing like surfing through a mall full of zombies bashing skulls and flinging everything you have at them, right? Dead Rising was a great game that brought many zombie lovers hours of joy, but the stiff controls and horrible back story lead some people to laugh at the main character, Frank West. The sequel has been pawned off on a new developer and you can bet Blue Castle games it going to make some changes.
Frank West is back and sports a new look and it looks like he’s lost just a little bit of weight. Perhaps the biggest feature in Dead Rising 2 is the ability to go on a zombie killing spree with your friends, with several different game modes including Zombie Kill Fest, Motorcycle Madness, and others. This is already a large improvement over the first game, as it had no multiplayer capabilities to speak of.
Of course, the zombie playground theme still permeates through the entire game and we’re perfectly fine with that. There are never enough zombies to main, explode, decapitate, or incinerate.
