Want A Wii? Wait A Few More Days…

Rumors are abound on different gaming sites with sales papers and ads which advertising a Wii price drop of around $50. This is hot on the heels of both price drops for the 360 and the PS3 Slim, so it makes sense for Nintendo to follow suit. However, given the capacity for rumors, we weren’t apt to believe it until Nintendo confirmed it themselves.
That’s right, confirmed via Kotaku, Nintendo has stated that the Wii $50 price drop will be active at all retail and online locations starting Sept. 27th, which is only a few days away. Usually retailers bundle price drops like these with a game and we’ve yet to see any retailers do so, but expect the price drop to be advertised over the next few days via retail outlets like Wal-mart and Target.
