USC Player Apologizes To Erin Andrews For Getting Freaky
The blogging world is finally quieting down following the Rey Maualuga getting freaky with Erin Andrews dance last week. But not everyone is ready to let it go. The former CEO of the Womens Sports Foundation said “[Maualuga is] my first-round pick for ‘offensive’ player of the year” and his dance behind Andrews “another example of a narcissistic, high-profile athlete believing that any behavior, no matter how inappropriate, is acceptable because of his status. For those who would laugh off, celebrate or enable this behavior, think twice. Ms. Andrews could be your sister, daughter or wife.” USC feeling the heat made this statement “The situation was addressed immediately. Rey both e-mailed and spoke to Erin and apologized to her. He realized he made a mistake and used poor judgment. He deeply regrets his actions.” My thoughts on the situation is that the scenario was too golden to pass up. Rey is a bigtime college athlete and she is the hottest reporter in the land. Come on give the guy a break. But Erin Andrews may need a security guard to watch her back!
