Playstation Home Open Beta Available Today
Sony has launched the highly anticipated Playstation Home today. For those who do not know, Playstation Home is a 3D virtual world where users have their own avatars and space within the Playstation community. Its been a long wait for this social network virtual world, which was designed to be a gaming community enabling users to interact, communicate, and share gaming experiences. The Playstation Home Open Beta is available as a free download that can be launched directly from the PlayStation Home icon on the PlayStation Network column on the PS3. Features in Home are being revealed but an early one is called the “Hall of Fame”. This is an area where gamers can brag about accomplishments. I plan to stay as far away as possible from the gaming snobs!
