The Summer’s Hottest Game Goes to Rock Band

Our first post goes to the hottest game of the 2008 summer – Rock Band: Special Edition. This game was released June 22nd and has an expansion pack already waiting in the wings in mid July called Rock Band: Track Pack Volume 1. As most of you know, Rock Band allows gamers to perform music from the world’s biggest rock bands using Wii based drums, microphones, and base/lead guitars. It has an amazing song library including punk, metal, and alternative to classic and southern rock of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. 63 games are included in the Special edition with hits such as: Nirvana’s “In Bloom”, Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”, Queens of the Stone Age’s “Go With The Flow”, Foo Figthers’ “Learn to Fly”, The Hives’ “Main Offender”, Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen”, Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, The Strokes’ “Reptilia”, The Ramones’ “Rockaway Beach”, Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So”, Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive”, The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again”. The expansion pack called Track Pack Volume 1, as we mentioned earlier in the post, has 30 songs such as: 0 Seconds to Mars – The Kill, Blink – 182 – All the Small Things, Grateful Dead – Truckin’ :: The Hives – Die, All Right!, Lynyrd Skynyrd – Gimme’ Three Steps, Nine Inch Nails – March of the Pigs. This game may become the biggest seller in Wii history. So don’t miss out on the fun!
